Published Work
UNDER CONSTRUCTION….I’m working on it, calm down
“Matt’s Mom” – Interview With Judy Shephard – mother of Matthew Shephard, the Wyoming college student murdered because he was gay.
“A League of Their Own” – My ‘breakthrough’ cover piece profiling the gay/lesbian employee’s support group at the Walt Disney Company. The article shed light on attempts by Disney executives to ‘silence’ the group and resulted in the eventual passage of ‘Domestic Partner Benefits’ for the gay/lesbian employees at Disney.

“Village Voices” – Interview Gay Historian and Writer, Martin Duberman, who in 1994 had just published the definitive work on the Stonewall Riots that led to the modern gay rights movement.
“Disney Downfall” – My love for all things Disney, led me on a quest to find Tommy Kirk, one of Disney’s legendary child actors. After a string of memorable performances in “Old Yeller,” “Swiss Family Robinson,” and “The Shaggy Dog,” Kirk suddenly dropped out of sight in 1960s and had only made rare public appearances since that time. There had long been a Hollywood rumor that Walt Disney himself had fired Kirk for being gay. I found him, and over several weeks spent time with him in order to tell his story.
“Envy Man” -I was hired on a contract basis by a new publishing company to design the new look, feel and cover of their premiere issue.

“Art With a Heart” – Interview legendary pop artist, Steve Kaufman, who for many years has donated proceeds from all his artwork to AIDS organizations and other charities.
