 “Disney Downfall” – My love for all things Disney, led me on a quest to find Tommy Kirk, one of Disney’s legendary child actors. After a string of memorable performances in “Old Yeller,” “Swiss Family Robinson,” and “The Shaggy Dog,” Kirk suddenly dropped out of sight in 1960s and had only made rare public appearances since that time. There had long been a Hollywood rumor that Walt Disney himself had fired Kirk for being gay.
